05/15/2007

Los Angeles, CA – May 15, 2007 – Landmark Theatres owners Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban have announced the opening of their new flagship theatre – The Landmark – located in the Westside Pavilion. The theatre offers 12 state-ofthe- art auditoriums, a wine bar and over 3,000 free parking spaces for the discerning movie-goer who is looking for a wide array of film choices in a sophisticated environment.

The Landmark offers a number of food and beverage options before, during, and after the film. The concession stand features gourmet, health conscious, and specialty snacks, including not only freshly-popped popcorn with real butter, but also unique items such as Pizza Rustica pizza made fresh on location, Yogurberry frozen yogurt with fresh fruit toppings and La Brea Bakery hot pretzels with gourmet mustards.

The Landmark’s auditoriums feature reserved stadium seating, extra leg room, leather seats and unobstructed sight lines. Additionally, the auditoriums are outfitted with state-of-the-art projection and sound equipment, including Sony SXRD 4K systems, Klipsch speakers and Dolby processors. Strategically located throughout the theatre, customers will find Samsung plasmas and LCD screens displaying custom designed content including show times and movie trailers as well as concession and retail items available for sale.

The Landmark also caters to special events by providing added technology features, such as a video simucast system for broadcasting overflow screenings, presentations and Q&As, WiFi connectivity, and HD video cameras for recording presentations.

In early 2008, a brand new restaurant called the Westside Tavern will open on the ground floor of the building. The restaurant will provide an upscale dining experience, offering American cuisine using locally-grown, fresh ingredients.

With cutting edge technology, an adult-oriented atmosphere, upscale amenities, and Landmark Theatres’ signature brand of customer service, The Landmark will be a destination setting a new standard in entertainment.

Landmark Theatres is part of the Wagner/Cuban Companies, vertically-integrated group of media properties co-owned by Todd Wagner and Mark Cuban that includes Magnolia Pictures, Magnolia Home Entertainment, HDNet Films, 2929 Productions, HDNet and HDNet Movies.
