10/27/2007

Denver, CO – November 20, 2007 Landmark Theatres, the nation’s largest theatre chain devoted primarily to independent film, announced the opening of its newest theatre – the 6-screen Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village. The new destination re-imagines the movie going experience for an adult audience with a sophisticated atmosphere, state of the art technology, a full bar, and a unique “media lounge” where patrons can relax before and after the movie.

The theatre’s full bar and lounge offers drinks and other delectable gourmet concession items including Boulder Sausage, Empanadas by Traditions Bakery, Udi’s sandwiches and salads, and Sahale healthy snack mix. In addition to banquette seating and tables, moviegoers can relax in the media lounge, a special seating area surrounded by a state of the art, 180 degree suspended display that broadcasts dynamic content from 4 HD LCD projectors.

Each ticket to the Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village includes unlimited complimentary fountain soda and gourmet Orville Redenbacher® popcorn with real butter. Rather than wait in concession stand lines, customers can easily access popcorn and soda at self-serve stations that allow them to choose their portions. Tickets are $12.00 general admission and $9.00 for seniors and children. Customers can also upgrade to VIP seating for an additional $2.00 to get the red carpet treatment. With this special offer, moviegoers receive a badge that entitles them to special VIP perks including front of the line access to the theatre, guaranteed reserved premium seating with extra legroom, merchandise discounts, in-seat concession delivery, and more!

In the auditoriums, Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village features the most comfortable movie-going experience available with luxurious leatherette stadium seating, unobstructed sight lines and large, 26-inch foam seats. Additionally, the theatres are outfitted with state of the-art projection and sound equipment, including a Sony SXRD 4K digital cinema system which delivers four times the resolution of HDTV, Dolby Digital Ex Surround Sound, and Klipsch Premium Sound Systems. Strategically located throughout the theatre, Samsung plasmas and LCD screens display bar menus, show times and movie trailers.

Also, like other Landmark Theatres across the nation, Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village further enhances the movie-going experience with in-theatre sales of DVDs, books, CDs and other movie-related merchandise.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the Greenwood Village community,” said Landmark Theatres CEO Ted Mundorff. “With this theatre, we’ve taken every possible step to give residents and visitors an unforgettable night out. The Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village sets a new entertainment standard for Denver audiences.”

Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village is one of three new Landmark theatres opened in 2007. The Landmark – the Company’s 12-screen flagship theatre debuted this June in Los Angeles and the 7-screen Landmark Theatres Harbor East bowed in Baltimore’s vibrant inner harbor in November. Both garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences.

With upscale amenities, VIP treatment, and Landmark Theatres’ signature brand of customer service, The Landmark Theatre Greenwood Village gives residents and visitors the ultimate movie going experience.
