Directions

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Bus:

  • All MBTA locals to Central Square in Waltham, which is at the intersection of Moody St. and Elm St. The theatre is a short walk down Moody St. to Pine St.
  • From downtown Boston take the Route 556 or 558 bus.
  • From downtown Boston via Harvard Square & West Newton take the Route 553 or 554 bus.
  • From Central Square Cambridge, take the Route 70 or 70A Bus.
  • From Brandeis, take the Route 553 bus.
  • From Bentley take the Route 554 bus.

Rail:

  • If you are using the commuter rail, you would use the Fitchburg line which terminates at North Station.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

  • From the west Route 90—Mass Pike:
    Go east to exit 14 at Route 128. Take 128 north to exit 26, Route 20. Follow Route 20 east for 1-1/2 miles into downtown Waltham. Take a right onto Moody Street, which is just after the Fleet Bank. Go over the small bridge, left at first light which is Pine Street.
  • From the North or South on Route 128 (95): Take exit 26. Go around the rotary at the exit onto Route 20 east. Follow Route 20 east for 1-1/2 miles into downtown Waltham. Take a right onto Moody Street, which is just after the Fleet Bank. Go over the small bridge, left at first light which is Pine Street.
  • From Route 2 Take the Lexington and Waltham St exit
    (exit 54A westbound):

    Follow the signs toward Waltham and then continue straight until the road splits. Take the right fork (Bacon Street) until the end and turn left onto Main Street. Turn right onto Moody Street just past the Fleet Bank. Continue across the railroad tracks and bridge. Take a left onto Pine Street at the first light.

  • From the East Route 20 west to downtown Waltham
    (Main Street):     Take a left onto Moody Street, which would be just past the City Hall. Go over small bridge, take a left on Pine Street which is first light.
  • Or if traffic is bad: Take a left onto Newton Street (turn lane). At the second traffic light take a right onto Pine Street. Turn into the Embassy parking lot before you get to the cinema.
  • From Storrow Drive or Soldiers Field Road: Heading west, follow signs to Watertown. Take the Arsenal Street/Watertown exit. Arsenal Street turns into Main Street. Drive for about 2.5 miles and then take a left onto Newton Street. At the second light take a right onto Pine Street. Turn into Embassy lot before you get to the cinema.
